INTERNET: RANCHO BLANKS CHAPARRAL IN GIRLS SOCCER

Lexa Green and Jahmela Muhammad each scored in the second half Wednesday to lift Rancho's girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over visiting Chaparral in a battle of the top two teams in the Northeast Division.

Yvette Cordero made five saves to earn the shutout for Rancho, which improved to 9-0-1 in division play. Chaparral fell to 6-2-2.

Valley 1, Canyon Springs 0 -- At Canyon Springs, Isamar Almada-Leyva scored on a penalty kick with four minutes to play to give the Vikings the win.

Natalie Deleon and Danielle Fitzgerald combined on the shutout.

Spring Valley 6, Western 0 -- At Spring Valley, Danielle Sullivan and Brittney Boyack each had two goals and an assist as the Grizzlies shut out the Warriors.

Brittany Hofer had a goal and an assist, and teammate Leslie Carroll added a goal for Spring Valley. Richelle White got the shutout for the Grizzlies.

Bonanza 2, Durango 2 -- At Durango, Callie Horn scored with 10 minutes remaining as Bonanza rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit to tie the Trailblazers.

Sierra Borelli also scored for the Bengals.

Janie Bordinhao and Alex Catalafamo scored for Durango.

Las Vegas 3, Desert Pines 2 -- At Desert Pines, Kimmie Rader scored to break a 2-2 tie with seven minutes left to lift the Wildcats.

Stephanie Avila had a goal and two assists for Las Vegas, and teammate Tatiana Garay scored a goal.

Vanessa Gomez and Karla Flores scored for the Jaguars.

Bishop Gorman 8, Clark 1 -- At Gorman, Adrianna Aldana, Mariah Hobbs and Tiffany Ysassi scored two goals apiece to pace the Gaels.

Megan Brascia added a goal and two assists for Gorman, and teammate Claire Colquitt also scored.

Nicole Plecko scored for the Chargers.
