Johnson, UNR get past Hawaii

HONOLULU -- Armon Johnson made a spinning 7-foot jumper with seven seconds left to lift UNR to a 47-46 win over Hawaii on Saturday.

The Warriors held a 46-39 lead with 2:45 left, but UNR scored the next six points, capped by a 3-point play by Johnson with 1:10 left.

After a Hawaii miss, Johnson drove the lane and spun around a defender before hitting the game-winning shot. It was the sixth lead change of the game.

Johnson went 8-for-15 from the field and finished with a game-high 25 points.

Luke Babbitt added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Wolf Pack (15-10, 8-4 WAC).
