Lampe, Wranglers outshoot Condors, 5-2
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Eric Lampe scored twice to lift the Wranglers to a 5-2 victory Friday and a two-game split with the Bakersfield Condors, ending a six-game winless streak.
Lampe's first goal gave Las Vegas (4-6-0-2) a 2-1 lead in the second period, and Josh Lunden scored on a 5-on-3 power play to extend the advantage.
After the Condors (5-8-1-1) cut the lead to 3-2, Lampe scored again to give the Wranglers some breathing room. An empty net goal finished the scoring.
Bakersfield beat Las Vegas 2-1 in a shootout Thursday.
The Wranglers next play at Idaho on Friday.
