Las Vegas notches victory over Palo Verde

Bryce Harper was 2-for-3 with a run and two RBIs to lead Las Vegas to a 7-3 win over visiting Palo Verde on Saturday in high school baseball.
Miguel Ortiz was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Wildcats.
Las Vegas starter Wes Grass held the Panthers scoreless until the sixth inning.
• Spring Valley 12, Green Valley 2 -- At Green Valley, Ryne Milner was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs to help the Grizzlies down the Gators.
German Barajas was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Grizzlies. Spring Valley's Chase LaComb was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs, and teammate Cameron Brooks went 2-for-3 with two runs.
Jordan Van Hoosier was 2-for-4 for the Gators, and Nick Melino drove in Green Valley's runs.
• Foothill 30, Clark 5 -- At Foothill, Tony Gibellina went 2-for-3 with a grand slam to help the Falcons rout the Chargers.
Tim Knatz was 2-for-3 for Foothill, which scored 15 runs in the third inning and 10 in the fourth.
