Mountain View notches football win over Needles

Matthew Larson and Trevor Van Kempen combined for 277 yards rushing and two touchdowns Saturday to help Mountain View's football team to an 18-12 win over visiting Needles, Calif.

Jacob Duldulao's 16-yard touchdown run with 1:47 to play in the first half broke a 12-12 tie, and the Saints (5-4, 4-2 2A Southern) held the Mustangs (0-8, 0-6) to 64 yards of offense in the second half.

Larson ran for 143 yards on 18 carries, with a 38-yard touchdown run, and Van Kempen ran for 134 yards on 22 carries, with a 19-yard scoring run.

Jason Nevarov and Mason Cisneros had 8- and 2-yard TD runs for Needles.
