Pacific hands Wolf Pack home defeat

RENO -- Bryan LeDuc scored 23 points to lead Pacific to a 67-59 basketball victory over UNR on Wednesday.

Terrel Smith added 15 points and Anthony Brown 10 for the Tigers (2-1).

Luke Babbitt scored 19 points and Malik Cooke 13 for the Wolf Pack (2-2).

With UNR leading 30-27 with 15:07 left, LeDuc sparked a 28-8 run by Pacific. He scored 12 points in the outburst, capping it with a short jumper that put the Tigers ahead 51-38 with 8:30 left.

The Wolf Pack responded with an 11-4 run to pull to within 55-49 with 4:50 left but could get no closer.

The Tigers put the game away with free throws down the stretch.

Former NBA player Marcus Morris Sr. was arrested Sunday at a Florida airport on a warrant out of Nevada and is facing a fraud charge, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
