PALO VERDE BOYS ROLL OVER CANYON SPRINGS

Palo Verde took advantage of a depleted Canyon Springs roster to post a 14-4 victory over the visiting Pioneers in boys tennis Monday.

Stan Breland was 3-0 in singles for Canyon Springs, which had only five players.

At Green Valley, Evan Song and Jason Cox each went 3-0 in singles as the Gators defeated Eldorado, 18-0.

At Liberty, Tyler Gutierrez and Cody Souza teamed to go 3-0 in doubles and lead Foothill to a 15-3 win over the Patriots.

GIRLS

At Palo Verde, three doubles teams each went 2-0 as the Panthers posted a 15-3 victory over Canyon Springs.

The teams of Lauren Centrella and Shelby Zepeda, Nikki Booth and Sarah Alamshaw, and Alyse Lysgaard and Kyley Schier combined to 6-0.

Canyon Springs' Rebecca Breland was 3-0 in singles.

At Green Valley, Jessica Hsu went 2-0 in singles to spark the Gators over Eldorado, 17-1.

At Liberty, Erika De los Santos and Marlee Moimoi went 3-0 in doubles to lift the Patriots over Foothill, 13-5.
