Palo Verde rallies for victory

Drew Ludwig's single with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Alex Bonczyk with the winning run as Palo Verde rallied from a three-run deficit to beat visiting Cimarron-Memorial 6-5 on Tuesday.

The Panthers, who trailed 5-2 in the fifth, tied the score on Brandon Renteria's RBI single in the seventh inning.

Bonczyk was 3-for-3 with a triple for Palo Verde.

Dyllon Neurnberg was 3-for-4 with two doubles for Cimarron.

Basic 11, Silverado 4 -- At Silverado, Marcus Romero homered twice to lead the Wolves past the Skyhawks.

Romero also singled and finished with three RBIs. Basic's Brett Wellman added a double, a home run and three RBIs.

Legacy 12, Shadow Ridge 8 -- At Shadow Ridge, the Longhorns erased a six-run deficit with a 10-run sixth inning to beat the Mustangs.

Travis Davidson had three RBIs for Legacy.

Green Valley 11, Foothill 6 -- At Green Valley, Jordan Van Hoosier and Brett Harrison each had four hits to lead the Gators past the Falcons.

Van Hoosier was 4-for-4 with a double, a triple, two runs and an RBI. Harrison was 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs.

Foothill's Garrett Dobrolecki was 3-for-3 with a triple.

Centennial 11, Cheyenne 0 -- At Centennial, Sam Friend was 2-for-3 with three RBIs in the Bulldogs' rout of the Desert Shields.

Centennial's Matt Triana went 2-for-3 with a triple, and Dominick Monteiro was 2-for-2 with a double, a run and an RBI.

Cheyenne's Jacob Hoff had two hits.

Arbor View 32, Mojave 2 -- At Mojave, Greg Gloria went 4-for-4 with two triples, three runs and four RBIs as the Aggies routed the Rattlers.

Arbor View's David McClure went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs.

Coronado 13, Liberty 7 -- At Liberty, Josh Bryan had two home runs and six RBIs to lead the Cougars over the Patriots.

Coronado's Ryan McIntyre was 4-for-4 with a home run, three doubles and four RBIs.

Liberty's David Kinan went 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Del Sol 15, Tech 4 -- At Tech, winning pitcher Tyler Giunta went 3-for-3 with five RBIs to help the Dragons beat the Roadrunners.

Randy Klabacka and Scottez Dobbins each went 3-for-4 with two doubles for Del Sol.

Tech's Chris Sambol and Adam Burgess each homered.

Faith Lutheran 5-8, Pahrump Valley 3-2 -- At Faith Lutheran, Mike Kinkenon went 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs in the first game as the Crusaders swept the Trojans.

Alex Barnes and Michael Foley each went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Faith Lutheran in the second game.

Mountain View 13, Pahranagat Valley 12 -- At Mountain View, Tanner Peterson was 2-for-3 with three RBIs as the Saints edged the Panthers in a game shortened to six innings because of darkness.

Center fielder Dylan Martin was 2-for-3 and made a running catch with the bases loaded in the seventh to end the game.

Boulder City 11-2, Moapa Valley 1-4 -- At Boulder City, the Eagles and Pirates split the doubleheader.

Boulder City's Zach Bartholomew and Jake Slater hit home runs in the first game.

In the second game, Brad Weiss went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Moapa Valley.

Calvary Chapel 21-19, Laughlin 0-11 -- At Laughlin, T.J. White tossed a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts in the first game as the Lions swept the Cougars.

Calvary Chapel's Dominic Pangallo and Cameron Harper homered in the first game.

In the second game, Cory Welch was 3-for-3 with four runs and two RBIs for the Lions.
