Panthers’ Hosier accounts for 10 TDs

Cody Hosier passed for seven touchdowns, ran for two and returned an interception for another as Pahranagat Valley rolled to a 92-30 home victory over Carlin in the Class 1A state semifinals Friday.

The Panthers will play in the state final at noon Nov. 20 at Arbor View, facing the winner of today's game between Indian Springs and host Coleville (Calif.).

Hosier completed 7 of 9 passes for 163 yards, and all nine Panthers completions went for touchdowns. He had seven carries for 80 yards, with TDs of 1 and 33.

Tyler Higbee had 110 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, 98 yards on four receptions and threw a TD pass.
