Rams pitcher fires no-hitter

Justin Neubauer tossed a six-inning no-hitter Tuesday, leading Rancho's baseball team to a 10-0 home win over Eldorado.

Neubauer struck out seven and allowed only one baserunner, on a two-out walk in the third inning.

James Cammack was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and four RBIs for the Rams, and Zack Qualls was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Bonanza 13, Clark 2 -- At Bonanza, Kris Bryant was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and four RBIs to help the Bengals down the Chargers.

Tomo Delp was 2-for-3 with two triples and two runs for Bonanza, and Axel Johnson was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs. Clark's Tom Hoag went 2-for-3.

Las Vegas 13, Valley 3 -- At Valley, Bryce Harper went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and four runs scored as the Wildcats routed the Vikings in six innings.

Francisco Rodarte was 3-for-4 with a triple, four RBIs and one run for Las Vegas.

Bishop Gorman 12, Spring Valley 0 -- At Spring Valley, Donn Roach threw a four-hitter with six strikeouts as the Gaels blanked the Grizzlies in five innings.

Joey Rickard was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs, and John Rickard was 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs for Gorman.

Sierra Vista 18, Western 0 -- At Sierra Vista, Scotty Tomassetti had a three-run homer and Ryan Krasn added a two-run shot as the Lions drubbed the Warriors in five innings.

Andrew Garcia had three doubles and Brett King went 3-for-3 with a double for Sierra Vista.

Chaparral 22, Desert Pines 1 -- At Chaparral, Jon Lupola was 4-for-4 with a double, a grand slam and six RBIs as the Cowboys routed the Jaguars.

Ricky Perez added a grand slam and winning pitcher Jacob Dahlman had two hits and four RBIs for Chaparral.

Durango 13, Cimarron-Memorial 3 -- At Cimarron, Niko Vasquez was 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBIs to power the Trailblazers past the Spartans in five innings.

Aaron Kurcz went 3-for-3 with a double, three runs and three RBIs, and he tossed a complete game to get the win.

Indian Springs 13, Mountain View 0 -- At Mountain View, five Thunderbirds pitchers combined to one-hit the Saints in five-inning shutout.

Nick Vandever homered for Indian Springs.

Lake Mead 19, Spring Mountain 6 -- At Spring Mountain, Doug Johnson hit for the cycle and drove in six runs to lead Lake Mead.

SOFTBALL

Clark 2, Bonanza 1 -- At Bonanza, Jordyn McDonald drove in Anna Jaehn with a sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th inning as the Chargers downed the Bengals.

McDonald went the distance to get the win. She allowed four hits and struck out 18.

Bonanza's Sam Snyder also threw a complete game, striking out 11.

Rancho 13, Eldorado 2 -- At Rancho, Katelyn Bley went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and four RBIs, and the Rams scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to pull away from the Sundevils.

Jesslyn Bley was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Rancho, and Karina Calderon was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Bishop Gorman 7, Spring Valley 5 -- At Spring Valley, Marietta Maffey was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored to help the Gaels down the Grizzlies.

Claudia Franco and Hayley Atiyeh each went 2-for-3 with a double for Gorman. Spring Valley's Katie Garcia was 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI.

Las Vegas 7, Valley 3 -- At Valley, Tiffini Lucero doubled and drove in two runs, and Chelsea Lewis went 2-for-4 with an RBI to help the Wildcats beat the Vikings.

Mickayla Romero and Lashanda Martinez each went 2-for-3 and scored a run for Valley.

Cimarron-Memorial 8, Durango 7 -- At Cimarron, freshman pitcher Carrie Sheehan homered, doubled and went the distance in striking out eight as the Spartans defeated the Trailblazers.

Durango led 5-3 in the fifth, but Cimarron's Alex Goyen smacked a two-run double to tie the game. Durango scored one run in the top of the sixth, but Chelsea Williams hit a two-run homer and Sheehan followed with a solo shot for the Spartans.

Durango's D.J. Richardson had a two-run homer and a double, and Jaexie Balilea and Ashley Hall each homered for the Trailblazers.

Sierra Vista 12, Western 0 -- At Sierra Vista, Brittany Cram was 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs as the Lions scored all of their runs in the first inning to beat the Warriors.

Desiree Laswell was 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs.

Desert Pines 18, Chaparral 3 -- At Chaparral, the Jaguars scored 12 first-inning runs and routed the Cowboys.

Pahrump Valley 4-11, Boulder City 3-4 -- At Boulder City, the Trojans swept the Eagles.

Tori Thomas and Brittney Lindgren each went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the first game for Pahrump.

Paxton Flemming was 3-for-3 with an RBI for Boulder City.

In the second game, Christine Gamble homered and drove in three runs and Lindgren was 3-for-5 with two RBIs.

Nicole Wood was 2-for-2 for Boulder City.
