Shadow Ridge golfer Davis, two others sign with Rebels

Shadow Ridge High School senior Ben Davis, who finished third at the 2013 Nevada state championship, has signed a national letter of intent with the UNLV golf team. Also signing with the Rebels were seniors Shintaro Ben of San Jose, Calif., and John Oda of Honolulu.

Ban, who plays at Archbishop Mitty High School, won the Junior Golf Association of Northern California championship match-play event last summer. Oda, a senior at Moanalua High School, won the 2012 Hawaii State Amateur championship.
