Shoulders’ buzzer-beating 3-pointer lifts Clark in OT
Dimarko Shoulders hit a 3-pointer as time expired Saturday to lift Clark's boys basketball team to a 53-50 overtime win over visiting Tech.
Isidro Garcia scored 19 to lead the Chargers. Steven Dancy, who was 5-for-6 from the free-throw line, added 15 points and Shoulders scored 14.
Steve Maglich and Ben Seibert each had 12 points for Tech.
• Bishop Gorman 58, Galena 46 -- At Reno, Jordan Hill had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Gaels over the Grizzlies.
Gorman's Kylel Coleman scored 18 points, and teammate Blake Moore had 14 points and six assists.
• Foothill 54, Bishop Manogue 44 -- At Reno, Ben Green scored 17 points, including three key fourth-quarter baskets, to lead the Falcons over the Miners.
• Orange Lutheran (Calif.) 75, Faith Lutheran 62 -- At Faith Lutheran, Orange Lutheran outscored the Crusaders 26-11 in the fourth quarter to get the victory.
Faith Lutheran's Diontea Wright led all scorers with 21 points.
• Lake Mead 69, Pahrump Valley 33 -- At Lake Mead, Jeffrey Newton had 14 points, and Landon Littlefield and Cameron Cornish each scored 12 as the Eagles dominated the Trojans to win the Lake Mead Holiday Classic.
• Lincoln County 64, Virgin Valley 49 -- At Lake Mead, Chris Shinkle had 21 points to lead the Lynx in the third-place game.
• Trinity 59, Boulder City 50 -- At Lake Mead, Raphael Roberts scored 18 to lead the Thunder to the consolation win.
• The Meadows 61, Spring Mountain 43 -- At Lake Mead, Jon Chino had 18 points and Graham Hilts 17 to lead the Mustangs to the Blue Bracket championship.
• Liberty Christian 70, Calvary Chapel 47 -- At Lake Mead, Liberty Christian placed three players in double figures to take seventh place.
• Indian Springs 38, Henderson International 34 -- At Lake Mead, Nick Vandever scored 17 to lead the Thunderbirds.
GIRLS
• Reed 74, Centennial 73 -- At Sparks, the Raiders scored on an offensive rebound in the final 30 seconds to win.
Deanna Daniels scored 17 and Dela Jones 16 to pace Centennial.
• Durango 68, Spanish Springs 44 -- At Durango, Lindy La Rocque hit eight 3-pointers and finished with 39 points to lead the Trailblazers.
La Rocque also had seven rebounds, six steals and four assists. Mia Bell added 13 points, five steals and five assists for Durango.
• Faith Lutheran 53, Spring Creek 39 -- At Winnemucca, Meghann Smith had a game-high 22 points to lead the Crusaders over the Spartans in the Lowry Tournament.
• The Meadows 31, Calvary Chapel 25 -- At Calvary Chapel, Holly Yuen had 10 points to lead the Mustangs.
