Sierra Vista tops Western in boys volleyball

Sierra Vista’s Joseph White had seven kills to lead the Lions to a 25-10, 25-16, 25-12 road win over Western on Monday.

Josh McLain added six kills, and Brent Waldron had five kills for the Lions.

Kyler Smith had four digs for the Warriors.

At Clark, Kyle Davis had 32 assists and eight aces to lead Bonanza to a 25-11, 25-21, 25-19 win over the Chargers.

David Fajardo added nine kills for the Bengals.

At Las Vegas, Jonathan Dugan had nine kills and 17 digs to lead the Wildcats past Valley, 25-22, 25-17, 25-20.

Colin Pretlow added 15 assists, six kills and five digs for Las Vegas, and Spencer Robb had 12 digs, four kills and three aces.

Hassan Chehab led the Vikings with 15 kills and six digs.

At Desert Pines, Agaziy Asefa had seven aces as the Jaguars defeated Chaparral, 25-11, 25-14, 25-13.

At Eldorado, Avant Gates had eight kills and 10 digs as the Sundevils defeated Rancho, 25-17, 25-15, 25-16.

Kameron Little had four blocks for the Sundevils, and Matt Taylor added 22 assists and four digs.

At Bishop Gorman, Chase Comrie had 22 digs, and Joey Franchino had 17 kills and 13 digs as Spring Valley defeated the Gaels, 25-17, 25-22, 25-16.

Erick James added seven blocks for the Grizzlies. Riley Foley led Gorman with 13 digs.
