Silverado fends off Valley

Wade Collie had 28 points, 19 rebounds and nine steals to lead the Silverado boys team to a 78-67 road victory over Valley on Wednesday.

Joe Spero scored 20 and Ali Sabra 16 for the Skyhawks. Terence Tatum scored 18 to lead Valley, and Deante Jones had 15 rebounds.

• Bishop Gorman 74, Snow Canyon (Utah) 64 -- At Gorman, Czar Robotham scored 22 points to lead the Gaels to the win at the Bishop Gorman Holiday Classic.

Quintin Dailey and Kylel Coleman each scored 17 and Blake Moore had 11 points and six assists for Gorman.

• Denver East 64, Spring Valley 63 -- At Gorman, DeVaughn Thornton scored 19 points as the Angels edged the Grizzlies.

Spring Valley had a final chance, but Jesse Chippoletti's 3-pointer missed at the buzzer. Jason Walter led all scorers with 22 points for the Grizzlies.

• Foothill 76, Bishop Timon (N.Y.) 51 -- At Gorman, Ben Green had 15 points and was one of 15 Falcons to score as they got the first-round win at the Gorman Holiday Classic.

• Thunder Ridge (Colo.) 53, Faith Lutheran 47 -- At Gorman, Thunder Ridge got 18 points from Zach Tiedgen to fend off the Crusaders.

Conner Maloney scored 14 points and Diontea Wright 12 for Faith Lutheran.

• Western 54, Clark 38 -- At Clark, Phillip Payne scored eight of his 18 points in the fourth quarter to help the Warriors pull away from the Chargers.

Isidro Garcia had 18 points for Clark, which trailed 35-31 entering the fourth quarter.

• Canyon Springs 82, Las Vegas 60 -- At Canyon Springs, the Pioneers forced 26 turnovers in beating the Wildcats.

Juron Criner had 17 points to lead four Canyon Springs players in double figures. Tony Eackles led the Wildcats with 16 points.

• Eldorado 73, Chaparral 57 -- At Chaparral, Mitrell Clark scored 15 points to help the Sundevils beat the Cowboys.

Mike Elliott added 14 points and Willie Bell 12 for Eldorado, which outscored Chaparral 20-8 in the second quarter.

Chaparral's Cardale Spencer had 20 points.

• Sierra Vista 77, Boulder City 65 -- At Sierra Vista, Josh McClain had 26 points to lead the Lions over the Eagles.

Amir Garrett added 19 points and Nick Douglas 15 for Sierra Vista. Boulder City's Joey Western led all scorers with 28 points.

• Desert Pines 79, Rancho 53 -- At Rancho, C.J. Myles and Kimani Bullard each scored 15, and the Jaguars had five players reach double figures.

Kevin Dupree scored 13 points to lead the Rams.

• Lake Mead 89, College Du Leman (Switzerland) 73 -- At Henderson International, Landon Littlefield had 23 points and 10 assists to lead the Eagles to the semifinal win in the Rock Holiday Classic.

Jared Dean scored 20 and DeQuan Thompson 15 for Lake Mead, and Jeffrey Newton had 10 assists.

• Agassi Prep 97, Baker (Calif.) 59 -- At Agassi Prep, Legeary Stewart and Quincy Brown each scored 22 points as Agassi Prep ran past Baker.
