Steelheads smoke Wranglers, 6-3

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads scored three times in the first eight minutes and cruised to a 6-3 victory over the Wranglers on Friday.

Las Vegas (4-7-0-2) fell behind 5-0 to Idaho (11-4-0-2) before a three-goal flurry in the third period from Sean Wiles, Chris Francis and Geoff Paukovich.

Idaho hosts the Wranglers again at 6:10 p.m. today.
