Today's best bet: Boston Celtics (+21/2) over LOS ANGELES LAKERS

It's the playmaking ability of Kobe Bryant against the toughness of the Celtics, who are 27-2 and on a 19-game winning streak. Boston is much better defensively, and has not slipped at all since Paul Pierce hopped out of a wheelchair and burned the Lakers in the NBA Finals. The Lakers, 23-5 overall and 14-1 at home, are 12-16 against the spread.
