Today’s best bet: DENVER NUGGETS (-11½) over Minnesota Timberwolves

The surging, well-rested Nuggets have won four of five and are coming off a 33-point shellacking of Sacramento on Saturday on the road. Reeling Minnesota has dropped seven straight to Denver and six in a row overall. The Nuggets are 2-0 vs. the Wolves this season, winning 90-84 at home Nov. 16 and 106-97 on the road Nov. 29. All signs point to a blowout tonight.
