Thunder down Wranglers, 4-3

The Stockton Thunder scored twice in the second period and went on to a 4-3 victory over the Wranglers on Friday at Stockton, Calif.

Robbie Smith and Judd Blackwater scored to pull the Wranglers (30-26-2-3) into a 2-2 tie after two early goals by the Thunder (31-23-5-4).

Stockton answered with two goals in the last seven minutes of the second period to take a 4-2 lead. Sean Wiles scored in the third for Las Vegas, but the Wranglers couldn’t find the net again.

The Wranglers next play at San Francisco at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
