Time flies for Wiggins

The fact Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins announced his intention to leave school after one season came as a surprise to absolutely nobody.

He was targeted as a one-and-done player long before he ever stepped foot on campus in Lawrence and he may potentially be the top pick in the upcoming NBA draft.

Part of Wiggins’ announcement on Monday was noteworthy, however.

In telling the assembled media and television audience that he did actually consider staying around in college for another year, Wiggins said he wished he had more time to experience life as a student.

“College goes by so fast,” he said.

Yes it does, Andrew.

Especially when you’re there for just over a semester.
