UNLV recruiting update

UNLV's football team welcomes some familiar names this week as six recruits visit campus.

Jordan Barrett (6 feet 2 inches, 225 pounds), LB, Notre Dame HS, Sherman Oaks, Calif. Scout.com three-star prospect is rated as the nation's No. 14 strong-side linebacker. He has scholarship offers from Notre Dame and Washington. He is a Rivals.com three-star prospect rated as the nation's No. 44 inside linebacker.

Courtney Bridget (6-3, 182), CB/S, Dunbar HS, Baltimore. He is a Scout.com two-star prospect rated as the nation's No. 90 cornerback and has scholarship offers from Illinois State and Liberty.

Charles Childers (6-0, 181), CB/S, Bishop Gorman HS. Childers already has committed. He is a Scout.com two-star prospect rated as the nation's No. 127 safety. He will play in the Offense-Defense All American Bowl in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Jan. 2.

Jarrell Harrison (6-2, 210), S, City College of San Francisco. He is a Rivals.com three-star prospect and a Scout.com one-star prospect. He has scholarship offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Missouri and North Carolina State.

Horace Miller (6-1, 210), DE, Dunbar HS, Baltimore and is already committed. He is a Scout.com and Rivals.com two-star prospect.

John Therrell (6-2, 175), S, Bishop Gorman HS. Therrell is the son of UNLV defensive coordinator Dennis Therrell. He will play in the Offense-Defense All American Bowl in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Jan. 2.
