UNLV’s 66-61 loss to Utah makes third in row

SALT LAKE CITY — Carlon Brown scored 18 points and Utah defeated UNLV 66-61 in a Mountain West Conference game at the Huntsman center.
The Rebels (19-7, 7-5) suffered their third consecutive loss. Tre'Von Willis scored 32 points but missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer with 18 seconds remaining.
Marshall Henderson, who made two free throws after Willis' miss, finished with 10 points for the Utes (12-13, 5-6).
The Rebels rallied from a 48-39 deficit to tie the score at 59 on Willis' fadeaway bank shot with 3:30 left.
