Utah rallies for victory at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Carlon Brown hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 1:11 remaining, as Utah rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to win 61-59 against Louisiana State on Saturday.
The Tigers (8-5) led 39-33 at halftime and extended their advantage to 47-35 on a drive by Aaron Dotson with 13:49 remaining.
But Utah (7-7) surged to a 54-52 lead with a 19-5 run capped by a 3-pointer by Marshall Henderson at the 5:03 mark.
The lead would change hands four more times after that.
Luka Drca led the Utes with 14 points, and Brown scored 12.
• Brigham Young 95, Eastern New Mexico 49 -- At Provo, Utah, Michael Loyd Jr. scored 17 points off the bench to help the Cougars (14-1) defeat the Division II Greyhounds (5-6).
BYU played without its two leading scorers, Jimmer Fredette (strep throat) and Jackson Emery (bruised heel).
• Air Force 72, Texas-Pan American 65 -- At Air Force Academy, Colo., Mike McLain scored a career-high 25 points as the Falcons (8-5), who were missing four starters, dealt the Broncs (1-14) their ninth consecutive loss.
• Texas Christian 70, Rice 58 -- At Fort Worth, Texas, Kevin Butler scored 18 points, and the Horned Frogs (7-7) pulled away from the Owls (6-7) early.
• Wyoming 123, Adams State 71 -- At Laramie, Wyo., A.J. Davis scored a career-high 26 points as the Cowboys (7-7) ran past the Division II Grizzlies (3-8).
