Utah topples Colorado State

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Luke Nevill blocked the potential game-winning shot at the end of regulation and scored eight of his 23 points in overtime as Utah survived a scare from scrappy Colorado State for an 89-79 victory Wednesday, the Utes' seventh straight win.

Tyler Kepkay led the Utes (19-7, 10-2 Mountain West Conference) with a career-best 27 points.

Marcus Walker led the Rams (8-18, 3-9) with 22 points, but Nevill blocked his potential game-winning runner at the end of regulation with the score tied at 73.

Texas Christian 62, Air Force 50 -- At Fort Worth, Texas, Zvonko Buljan had 20 points to help the Horned Frogs over the Falcons (9-16, 0-12).

Eight of Buljan's points came in the first 2:17 of the second half as TCU (14-12, 5-7) took the lead for good. He hit back-to-back 3-pointers and a layup.
