Villanueva helps Tech in blowout

Reyna Villanueva had three hits and scored twice and combined with Karissa Rios on a four-inning no-hitter as Tech earned a 16-0 home softball victory over Western on Friday.

Ashley Langston and Danielle Rodriguez also had three hits for the Roadrunners.

Liberty 6, Las Vegas 2 -- At Liberty, Diana Cassaro went 2-for-4, including a triple, to help the Patriots defeat the Wildcats.

Breanna English earned the win for Liberty, striking out seven and allowing two unearned runs in seven innings.

Brianna Guzman went 2-for-4 with a double to lead Las Vegas, which led 2-0 after the first inning.

Shadow Ridge 2, Spring Valley 0 -- At Shadow Ridge, Mandy Harmon pitched a one-hitter and struck out 12 to lead the Mustangs past the Grizzlies.

Jasmine Harris hit a solo home run.

Legacy 13, Boulder City 2 -- At Needles, Calif., Darcey Cochran and Kirsten Pico each had three hits to help the Longhorns defeat the Eagles.

Jessie Wilhelm threw a two-hitter for Legacy.

Legacy 10, Chino Valley (Ariz.) 3 -- At Needles, Calif., Wilhelm was 2-for-2 with a triple and an RBI and pitched a complete game for the Longhorns.

Katirina Rand added a triple for Legacy, which scored eight runs in the third inning.

Rancho 13, Cheyenne 2 -- At Cheyenne, Jesslyn Bley had two doubles and two RBIs, scored three runs and picked up the victory to lead the Rams over the Desert Shields.

Amerissa Villamar went 3-for-3 with a homer, two RBIs and two runs for Rancho.

Stephanie Vacca had two hits for Cheyenne.

Eldorado 11, Del Sol 1 -- At Eldorado, Jasmine Pickett struck out 10 and allowed one hit to guide the Sundevils to a five-inning victory.

Brittany Young belted a two-run triple for Eldorado.

Ironwood Ridge (Ariz.) 11, Sierra Vista 1 -- At Bullhead City, Ariz., Rachel Chapman homered and doubled, and Ironwood Ridge limited the Lions to two hits at the Tournament of Champions.

Farmington (N.M.) 7, Sierra Vista 0 -- At Bullhead City, the Lions were held to four hits in their loss.

Faith Lutheran 19, Calvary Chapel 0 -- At Needles, Calif., Jessie Tracy was 2-for-3 with a home run, double and four RBIs to lead the Crusaders.

Michelle Beatty was 2-for-2 and scored twice for Faith Lutheran.

Arbor View 10, Silver City (N.M.) 0 -- At Needles, Calif., Nichole Diaz pitched a three-inning perfect game to help the Aggies to an abbreviated victory.

Savannah Webster went 2-for-2 with two homers and three RBIs.

Centennial 8, Tooele (Utah) 7 -- At St. George, Utah, Paige Reese and Katie Lee hit RBI singles in the seventh inning as Centennial edged Tooele.

Reese's hit broke a 6-6 tie, and Lee's added an insurance run that came in handy after Tooele scored in the bottom of the inning.

Brandy Thaw was 3-for-4 with a solo homer for the Bulldogs, and Johnna Brown added a pair of doubles.

Centennial 10, West Jordan (Utah) 2 -- At St. George, Utah, winning pitcher Lindsay Konopelko went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI to lead the Bulldogs over West Jordan.
