Alex Wright joined the Review-Journal staff as a high school sports reporter on October 2022. He was previously a sports intern at the RJ. Alex was born and raised in Las Vegas and is in his fourth year at UNLV, majoring in journalism and media studies, with a concentration in sports media. Alex currently serves as the editor-in-chief for UNLV's student newspaper, the Scarlet & Gray Free Press. He previously was the sports editor for the paper last school year after being a sports staff writer for a year and a half.
