Adelson adds Ader to Sands board

The news that Jason Ader had joined the board of Las Vegas Sands failed to generate the interest I think it deserved.

Ader has plenty of experience analyzing the gaming industry, and he has the potential to be a valuable asset to Adelson.

Las Vegas Advisor Publisher Anthony Curtis has known Ader and worked with him on a weighty study of major casino companies for Bear Stearns.

“This guy knows his stuff, big time,” Curtis says. “He’s just a real operator. They could probably use that kind of engine over there.”

Curtis calls Ader “very focused, very smart” and added with a smile, “Jason never does anything without a purpose.”
