Airman finds home in Prescott Park

After tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, active-duty airman Mario Smith appreciates what it means to be home. And, home for him means Pardee Homes' Riverstone at Prescott Park in North Las Vegas.

Smith, who spent his childhood in Mesquite is happy to be back in Southern Nevada after previously being stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.

"When it came down to it, Pardee offered a bigger house at a better price and with a better interest rate through Pardee Home Loans than the other new-home neighborhoods I was considering," Smith said. "And, it helped that stainless steel appliances and granite countertops were also included."

Smith said he feels that extensive research he conducted before purchasing his first home was well-worth the effort. "I feel truly blessed to have found my house with a private park just across the street," he said.

Riverstone is the last neighborhood planned for Pardee Homes' Prescott Park master-planned community, which is centered around a 4.5-acre community park that features a tot lot and playground structure, climbing wall, game tables, basketball half-court, large open field, amphitheater, picnic benches, barbecue grill and shade structure.
