Aliante home provides space for family of six
The Broski family, which includes Todd and Penny, and their children Mark, 17, Matthew, 10, Tyler, 5, and Joshua, 4, have moved into a new house in Aliante, a North Las Vegas master-planned community.
The couple are expecting their fifth child shortly and said the home is a good fit for their growing family.
The clan relocated to Southern Nevada from Biloxi, Miss. in early 2005. Todd Broski is in the Air Force, stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. He said when he began researching housing opportunities in Southern Nevada, Aliante was the first community he heard about.
"A friend from Mississippi was familiar with the Las Vegas area and told us about Aliante, which was in a rather early stage of development at the time," he said.
"When we arrived, we came to Aliante first and were very impressed with what was already completed and what was planned for the future.
"Just to be sure, though, we looked at several other areas of the valley as well, but Aliante remained our favorite choice. Since that time, the master plan has come together very nicely, including the parks, trails, elementary school, shopping, restaurants - all of the things a family like ours appreciates having close to home."
Penny Broski agreed.
"There's a comfort associated with living in a master-planned community like Aliante," she said.
"It's a nice, quiet, suburban location, so you don't feel like you're living in the heart of a big city.
"It's more like being in a nice small town, where you don't have to go far to access what you tend to need on a daily basis.
"We have also been very impressed by the outdoor community events held throughout the year here at Aliante.
"We, along with other families, have enjoyed attending them, including the movies, the pet adoptions, the fireworks displays at the Aliante anniversary celebrations, the annual circus shows and so many other happenings. This is a very family oriented community and we're glad to be part of it," she said.
Developed by North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb, Aliante encompasses more than 1,900 acres.
Home builders include Astoria, Del Webb, D.R. Horton, KB, Lennar, Pardee and Pulte. Homes are priced from mid-200,000s to the low $500,000s.
To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and exit east. Make a right onto Sky Pointe Drive, a right onto Frontage Road, and then a left onto the Beltway. Head east to the Aliante Parkway exit, then go south.
The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Call 866-787-2951 or visit aliantehomes.com for more information.
