Aliante to host Big Top Celebration

Aliante will host its fourth annual Big Top Celebration today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, 2627 Nature Park Drive, near the southeast corner of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and Aliante Parkway.

The event will feature a variety of family oriented activities highlighted by three 30-minute performances by the American Crown Circus at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. The circus acts will include acrobats, jugglers, aerialists, balancers and clowns.

Free tickets for the circus shows will be distributed at the registration booth in the park, beginning at 10 a.m. Other free activities that day will include train rides, pumpkin painting, carnival games, a 50-foot circus obstacle course, face painters, juggling clowns and a live D.J. Food and refreshments will be available for sale.

To reach Nature Discovery Park, take U.S. Highway 95 north to the I-215 Exit East. Head east on I-215, exit at Aliante Parkway and proceed south. Information can also be obtained at aliantehomes.com or by calling 866-787-2951.
