Aliante to host parade

Aliante will host a Halloween Parade and Harvest Fest today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is free and open to the public and will be held in the community's 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, located at 2627 Nature Park Drive, near the southeast corner of Aliante Parkway and Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway.

Adults and kids are invited to show off their costumes in a Halloween Parade and D.J. Tony will emcee and keep the event rocking.

There will also be pumpkin-decorating and art classes for the kids (while supplies last), as well as face painting and trick-or-treat bag decorating.

To reach Nature Discovery Park, take U.S. Highway 95 north to I-215 Exit East. Head east on I-215, exit at Aliante Parkway and proceed south.

Developed by North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb, Aliante encompasses more than 1,900 acres. Home builders include Astoria, Del Webb, D.R. Horton, KB, Lennar, Pardee and Pulte.

Homes are priced from mid-$200,000s up to the low $500,000s.

To visit, take U.S. 95 to the Interstate 215 Las Vegas Beltway and exit east. Make a right onto Sky Pointe Drive, a right onto Frontage Road, and then a left onto the Beltway. Head east to the Aliante Parkway exit, then go south.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Call 866-787-2951 or visit aliantehomes.com for more information.
