Aliante to host Winter Holiday Festival
The Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas will host a Winter Holiday Festival Dec. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Aliante Information Gallery and in the adjacent Nature Discovery Park.
Free and open to the public, the event will feature holiday-themed activities for people of all generations.
Visitors to the festival can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides from the information gallery to a decorated event tent in Nature Discovery Park. Along the way, carriage riders can view the Aliante festival of holiday lights, which will feature life-size elves with presents and a 40-foot-long sea serpent.
Upon arriving at the tent, guests will be serenaded by carolers and invited to partake in a variety of holiday sweets, including hot chocolate, hot apple cider and a chocolate fountain.
From Dec. 1 to 21, the Aliante Information Gallery will host a Holiday Toy Drive in conjunction with the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. Donors are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the gallery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The festival will be sponsored by North Valley Enterprises LLC, which is the developer of Aliante, home builders of Aliante, Aliante Golf Club and the Aliante Master Community Association.
To reach the Winter Holiday Festival, take U.S. Highway 95 to Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway. Head east on I-215, exit at Aliante Parkway and turn left onto Nature Park Drive. For more information, call 866-787-2951 or visit AlianteHomes.com.
