The Aliante master-planned community, located in North Las Vegas, features the award-winning Aliante Golf Club as a central recreational amenity.
Officially opened to the public in December 2003, the championship 18-hole, 6,900-yard, par-72 daily fee golf course is located off Aliante Parkway, just north of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway.
The course was designed by the architectural firm of Gary Panks and Associates of Scottsdale, Ariz. and is managed by OB Sports Golf Management, also based in the Arizona town.
"Aliante is a strong challenge that incorporates all the best design elements found in outstanding golf courses," Panks said. "We created a well-balanced golf course with an appealing landscape and an eye-catching arroyo, all of which have a positive impact on the look and feel of the golf course."
Panks pointed out that the course is also highlighted by water features, landing areas and the strategic use of trees that are not commonly found in most desert courses, such as pear and purple locust trees.
"True to our design philosophy, we fashioned a golf course that challenges the expert to utilize every club in the bag, while providing an enjoyable experience for the novice golfer as well," Panks said.
Aliante Golf Club also features a clubhouse with a golf shop, The Aliante Grille and an event pavilion that offers views of the golf course and surrounding mountains. The practice facility features a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker.
