Am I your Superman?

Sunday's R-J column on Obama's lousy leadership style received phenomenal local and national attention.
A few soreheads, of course, didn't like it as expressed by a fellow who asked that when I have prostate surgery I also have my head removed from my ... well, I think you know where that statement's going. Fairly funny, actually, for an Obamatron.
Thankfully, 98 percent of the responders were supportive. An especially kind note came from Carolyn in St. Louis who wrote:
"I remember when I was very young there was a TV show called SUPERMAN that was watched by millions. As that show began every week it showed Superman standing on top of this Planet Earth and the announcer would speak in a very powerful voice that this man stood for TRUTH, JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN WAY.
"Mr. Frederick, I must say, that was the very first thing I thought of when reading your article! YOU ARE OUR SUPERMAN and God Bless You, Sir."
For those of you who didn't read it yet, you can find the column here. Pro or con, I always appreciate engagement with readers ...
... especially those who notice the cape.
