Another gubernatorial debate set

Republican Brian Sandoval and Democrat Rory Reid will debate on the television show Nevada Newsmakers just days before the Nov. 2 election, host Sam Shad confirmed late Tuesday.

Shad says the candidate debate will be taped the morning of Oct. 27 and aired over the course of two shows, one on the 27th and another Oct. 28th.

Sandoval and Reid debated August 29 in Las Vegas and have further debates scheduled Oct. 7 in Las Vegas and Oct. 26 in Elko.

The Nevada Newsmakers debate can be accessed from Southern Nevada KSNV TV News 3, Cox Channel 123 and KXNT Radio. It will also be posted on the website Nevada Newsmakers.com. The episodes will be commercial free and hosted by Shad along with Ray Hagar, a reporter for the Reno Gazette-Journal.
