AROUND TOWN: An offer you can’t refuse at Insomniac Cinema
"The Godfather," the quintessential mob film, will play as part of the Regency Tropicana Cinema’s weekly Insomniac Cinema.
The Oscar-winning film stars Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone, the aging leader of an organized crime family, and Al Pacino as Michael,
his son, who is is resistant to the idea of taking over the control of the family empire. It also features actors James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, and of course, Abe Vigoda and a decapitated horse.
If you’re a film buff, you probably already have this on DVD, but the cinematography warrants seeing it on the big screen. Insomniac Cinema takes place every Wednesday. Next week, they’ll be showing the "Goonies," and on April 8 they’ll show Spaceballs.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. March 25 at the Regency Tropicana Cinemas at 3330 E. Tropicana Ave. Tickets are $8.
