AROUND TOWN: Bake sale to benefit Share our Strength

Come with cash and a sweet tooth!

A southwest Las Vegas moms group will host a Share our Strength Great American Bake Sale from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 28 at Child’s Play, 7260 S. Cimarron Road. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Share our Strength, which helps feed hungry children in the Las Vegas Valley and across the nation.

The sale will be stocked with treats from local bakeries and homemade goods from the moms group. For more information, e-mail Annie Barkhuff at anknee20@yahoo.com.
