AROUND TOWN: Clark County residents can get out the vote early

Voters don't have to fight a crowd on Election Day to choose the next president. Eager Nevadans can vote early now through Oct. 31.

The Clark County Election Department has made it a piece of cake to vote with 88 polling sites, several that are open every day until Oct. 31. Plus, any registered Clark County resident can vote at any of the sites. So, there are few worthy excuses to not add your 2 cents into the general election. The county election department updates each night how many people have voted. So far, 90,566 people  in the county have cast their votes.

For early voting sites and times, visit the county's Web site.

And for an up-close look at the election issues, read the general election voter’s guide put out by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

By the way, if you wear your “I Voted” sticker from now until Election Day, you will be made fun of.
