AROUND TOWN: Create Gourmet Burgers gives customers choices

You know how you order a pizza and get a list of choices for toppings? That’s what it’s like at Create Gourmet Burgers and Frozen Custard, at 7250 W. Lake Mead Blvd., on the corner of Tenaya Way.

You have a full range of choices to add to it — roasted red peppers, grilled onions, carrot strings, grilled pineapple, Greek olives and cheeses you don’t normally see at a burger place.

If you need time to see the choices or have a difficult time making up your mind, they have these little clip boards with the menu attached… so you can step aside and take your time choosing, without holding up the line.

One word of warning—the portobello burger is a little misleading – it comes with just the mushroom cap—which left me wondering, “Well, gee…did they forget the beef patty?”
