AROUND TOWN: CSN holding auditions for ‘Wait Until Dark’

The College of Southern Nevada department of fine arts is seeking actors for its Aug. 14 through 23 production of Frederick Knott’s thriller “Wait Until Dark.”

Directors Russ Benton and Chris Mayse will hold auditions from 1 to 4 p.m. on April 27, and from 7 to 9 p.m. on April 28 in room 1430 of the Recital Hall at the Cheyenne Campus, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave.

Interested actors need to bring a resume and prepared monologue, but a photo is optional. There also will be cold readings from the script.

Callbacks will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on May 2. Roles are available for one female age 20 to 30, six males ages 20 to 50 and one girl age 9 to 12. Rehearsals will begin mid-July. For more information, call 651-4526 or e-mail pacinfo@csn.edu.
