AROUND TOWN: Donate books for Ronald McDonald House

Looking to give back to the community?

Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School eighth-grader Macy Helm is coordinating a book drive to benefit the Ronald McDonald House at several Borders bookstore locations  through Feb. 28.

The book drive is meant to collect books for children, young adults and adult in all genres, from suspense, mystery, drama, adventure and romance. The book donations collected will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House located at 2323 Potosi St. on March 1, in conjunction with the National Education Association's Read Across America.

Books are being collected at the following Borders locations:

  • 2323 S. Decatur Blvd., 258-0999
  • 1445 W. Sunset Road, 433-6222
  • 2190 N. Rainbow Blvd., 638-7866
  • 10950 W. Charleston Blvd., 382-6101
  • 6521 Las Vegas Blvd. South, 383-6734
