AROUND TOWN: La Palapa worth the drive for authentic Mexican food
If you’re looking for a good place to get real Mexican food, go to La Palapa Restaurant at 1515 N. Eastern Ave. It’s worth the drive for something different if you don’t live near the place.
The outside isn’t much to look at, but the inside is very spacious. Prices are pretty inexpensive and the food is de-li-cious!
La Palapa offers an array of seafood and Mexican specialties, plus fresh juices and drinks you can’t find just anywhere. The Spanish rice is amazing and stands out really from any I’ve had in a loooong time.
