AROUND TOWN: Need some ‘Love’? Get tickets through public radio

All you need is "Love."

Nevada Public Radio will be hosting two benefit performances of "The Beatles Love" at The Mirage at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 5. All of the proceeds will benefit Nevada Public Radio and must be purchased through Nevada Public Radio.

Ticket holders to the 9:30 p.m. performance will be treated to a special question and answer session with the cast. Wonder how they are able to climb down those ropes using only their legs? Want to know what the inspiration was for a particular scene? How to the musical selections were chosen? Ask them!

Single patrons can benefit from the "Help! I need somebody" section. If a single ticket is purchased, the seat will be placed with other single public radio fans -- one way for you to "find somebody to love," courtesy of NPR.

Ticket pricing is $125 is for current Nevada Public Radio members. Listeners of News 88.9 KNPR and Classical 89.7 can purchase tickets for $150 each, which includes Nevada Public Radio membership.
