AROUND TOWN: Recycle old cell phones to help U.S. military

I have this old cell phone. I mean OLD. It cost like $300 when I got it, but now it’s a dinosaur. About the only thing it’s good for is some movie prop company. Even I knew of one to sell it to, they’d probably laugh at me and say, no thanks.

So…what can people do with their cell phone relics? At Liberty Tax Service, they accept old cell phones year-round. The donated phones are recycled and the proceeds turned into phone cards for soldiers. It’s enough to put a smile on your face, doing something to help out someone far from home. Keep dialing. Keep smiling. Keep donating.
