AROUND TOWN: S.W.A.K. — Exhibit freezes Sin City in artful frames

Michele C. Quinn Fine Art Advisory, 620 S. 7th St.,  presents Love Letter to Las Vegas through May 15.

The show, culled from “The Book on Vegas,” Greybull Press, features photographs originally published in tribute to the city’s centennial. The images represent the work of photographers, artists and filmmakers of the past 50 years, including Douglas Kirkland, Lauren Greenfield, Grant Mudford, Richard Misrach, Lisa Eisner and Lee Friedlander. Photographs explore Las Vegas through the eyes of artists, capturing the city’s architecture, street life, weddings, casinos and more.

The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by appointment. For information, call 366-9339.
