AROUND TOWN: Shop for a cause at Bloomingdale’s

It's always an extra perk when there's a good reason to go shopping.

Bloomindale's store across the country are pledging to donate $75,000 from sales generated today to Mentoring USA, a nonprofit organization that provides mentors to children, as part of the Fashionable Fundraiser on Feb. 25. In addition to pitching in to the donation, customers will have the chance to meet with representatives from Mentoring USA to find out how to make a difference in the community through mentoring.

Representatives will be at Bloomingdale's in the Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South, from noon to 4 p.m. today. For more information on the fundraiser, call 277-2448 or 784-5400.
