Berkley on November jobless rate: ‘News is welcome but numbers still too high’

Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-Nev., reacting to this morning's report that Nevada's unemployment rate dropped to 13 percent in November, said this in a statement:

"Any news that unemployment is down is welcome, but it is still far too high for the thousands who are out of work through no fault of their own. Our number one priority needs to be putting Nevadans back to work by creating good paying jobs that can't be shipped overseas. That begins by prioritizing Nevada's middle class families over Wall Street millionaires and billionaires by extending the payroll tax cut that provides real relief for Nevada's families."
