Berkley on October jobless rate: ‘Figures are deeply disappointing.’

Rep. Shelley Berkley, D-Nev., reacting to this morning's report that Nevada's unemployment remained at 13.4 percent in October, said this in a statement:

"Nevada’s continued record unemployment figures are deeply disappointing. However, what’s even more disappointing are Washington Republicans more focused on protecting taxpayer giveaways to Big Oil companies and turning Medicare over to private insurance company bureaucrats rather than putting Nevadans back to work. I call on both parties to help me make job creation the number one priority by ensuring Nevada leads the nation in clean energy jobs and cracking down on the Chinese government’s unfair trade policies cheating Americans out of millions of jobs."
