‘BITE OF LAS VEGAS’ TAKES PLACE SATURDAY

The 11th Annual "Bite Of Las Vegas" Food and Music Festival takes place Saturday at Desert Breeze Park, located at the intersection of Durango and Spring Mountain roads.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., features live performances from Colbie Calliat, Vanessa Carlton, Paolo Nutini and rock groups Fuel and Lifehouse. Admission is $8 for adults and children 5 and under are free.

Attendees can receive $1 off the admission price with a donation of canned food at the gate for the City Mission of Las Vegas. Additionally, $1 of every ticket sold will be donated to the City Mission to help feed Las Vegas' hungry. For more information, log on at: www.mix941.com.
