‘Boomer Babes’ book signing

  Writer, relationship advice columnist and matchmaker Maria Grazia Swan will be in town to sign copies of her book, “Boomer Babes, True Tales of Love and Lust in the Later Years.”
  Debra McGuire reviewed the book here at The Book Nook and wrote, “Retired is not the word for the people — according to Swan, real people — who inhabit the world of ‘Boomer Babes.’ They might not be working, but they’re not sitting at home, waiting to meet the Grim Reaper. As one woman says about a friend of hers, if she did encounter him, she’d probably proposition him. Here are tales of love in unexpected places, of women with secret pasts and men who don’t know what they want — or what’s not good for them.”
  The book also includes a section about Christie Brinkley, who has been going through a very public divorce, and The Diehards — women who repeat the same mistakes in their relationships.
  Swan will sign books at 7 p.m. July 25 at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St. in Henderson, and at 2 p.m. July 26 at Barnes & Noble, 8915 W. Charleston Blvd.
