Builder offers new collections

Harmony Homes recently unveiled two new floor plans at Rivendell and four new plans at Alpian Meadows within Mountains Edge, a master-planned community in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley.

The first Harmony collection to debut in Mountain's Edge will be Rivendell, a gated collection with home sites up to nearly one-third of an acre in size. The lots will house the 2,735-square-foot and the 4,035-square-foot floor plans.

Rivendell's 2,735-square-foot floor plan is a single-story design with three bedrooms, den, 21/2 baths and a three-car garage. Also offered is an option for a fourth bedroom.

"Single-story homes with three-car garages are hard to find in Las Vegas, so this floor plan fits the bill for many new home buyers," Wilson said. "And the 4,035-square-foot model is being offered for (less than) $70 per square foot in our presale pricing phase. With five bedrooms, three baths and a three-car garage, you get a lot for your money."

Alpian Meadows offers four designs that include a 2,018-square-foot floor plan priced at $199,990 during the presale preview. This four-bedroom, three-bath home includes a two-car garage and will be joined by a dual-master bedroom design soon.

The local homebuilder posts information on social networking sites such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and MySpace. Nikki Davis, the company's Internet concierge, keeps followers updated.

"For example, YouTube.com has a Harmony Heights channel that allows viewers to see our model homes before they even step foot in the community," Davis said. "And our live online chat feature on our Web site allows them to ask questions at any time in a manner that is most convenient to them."

Harmony Homes is currently selling homes in six Las Vegas neighborhoods including Harmony Pointe, Harmony Springs, Harmony Heights, Harmony Sands, Alpian Meadows and Rivendell.

Prices at Harmony Homes start at $139,990 and sizes range from 1,286 to 4,035 square feet. All homes are Energy Star certified.
